Our advertising policy ensures that all promotional content displayed on our platforms aligns with our values, supports the homeopathy profession, and provides value to our members and the public.
1. Acceptable Advertising Categories
We welcome advertising from individuals, businesses, and organisations that operate ethically and are aligned with our mission. We accept advertising in the following categories:
- Homeopathy services and clinics
- Natural and complementary health products
- Education and CPD courses relevant to homeopaths
- Books, publications, and tools used in homeopathic practice
- Events, seminars, and workshops in the field of natural health
- Practice management services and professional indemnity providers
- Suppliers of remedies, tinctures, or approved dispensary services
- Technology platforms supporting healthcare professionals (e.g. telehealth, clinic software)
- Job listings or recruitment opportunities relevant to the sector
2. Advertising Standards
All adverts must:
- Be accurate, honest, and not misleading
- Comply with relevant UK law
- Avoid unsubstantiated health claims or medical guarantees
- Clearly identify any paid or sponsored content
- Respect the dignity and independence of the homeopathic profession
We reserve the right to reject or remove any advertising that:
- Contravenes legal, regulatory, or ethical standards
- Conflicts with HINT’s mission or public reputation
- Promotes pharmaceutical products or services unrelated to natural healthcare
- Contains discriminatory, offensive, or exploitative content
3. Conflicts of Interest & Perceived Endorsement
To protect the independence of our organisation and the trust of our members:
- We do not accept advertising from service providers offering services in direct competition with Homeopathy International, where a commercial conflict of interest exists.
- Advertising space will not be used in a way that could imply endorsement, certification, or partnership with HINT unless a formal agreement is in place.
- We take care to ensure that advertising does not create confusion as to whether a product or a service is provided or officially supported by Homeopathy International.
4. Approval Process
All advertising requests must be submitted for approval before publication. We may request supporting documentation or substantiation of claims. HINT reserves the right to decline any advert at our discretion and without further explanation.
5. Placement and Duration
Advertising may appear on our website, in our newsletter, or in other digital or print communications, subject to availability and relevance. Placement and duration are determined by agreement, and priority may be given to partners or members.
